Gotham Dental

This was honestly the first time I've ever visited a dental practice and not felt frustration, shame, and discouragement. Everyone in the practice is friendly, compassionate, and understanding. I had my annual cleaning with Patricia, and she is everything you want a dental hygienist to be - knowledgeable, caring, and gentle. Ana is also warm and friendly. She popped in to help with 3D impressions for a night guard, and then I saw her again at a follow-up with the peridontist. Dr. Samuelian was wonderful. He explained work I need to have done (replacing crowns, for instance), but also laid out what the priorities are. Dr. Castano is also great. I have to have a minor procedure on my gums where a wisdom tooth once was, and while it's something that I do need to do sooner rather than later, he understood that due to overseas travel, I can't do this right away and explained how to manage the issue until I'm back in the country. After years of being scolded, disregarded, and even harassed at various dental offices, this was the first time I left an appointment feeling relief. In fact, when I had to go back for the follow-up with Dr. Castano, it was the first time I didn't have a sense of overwhelming anxiety walking through the door. I'm so glad I found Gotham Dental. I only wish I'd found them sooner!

I always have a very pleasant visit at Gotham Dental, the Doctors are excellent and the staff are helpful and very friendly. I am terribly afraid of the dentist because I am very sensitive to pain but Dr Patricia who cleans my teeth always makes me feel comfortable so I can relax while she is doing what she does best. In the end, the process goes smoothly and I get out happy with a clean mouth. I highly recommend Gotham Dental, all of the doctors are excellent, you are going to be in good hands with any of them. I travel from Suffolk County, Long Island because I was not able to find a dentist and accompanying staff that is nearly as qualified as Gotham Dental and I tried for 25 years. Gothams offices are clean, hygienic and I can not say enough about their staff. Starting with reception who are courteous and professional to their hygienists, Sarah and Patricia who are both gentle while doing the cleaning but proficient; it makes getting a dental cleaning pleasant. Going to Gotham Dental makes going to the dentist a worthwhile experience and one everyone will WANT to do.

Dr Samuelian and the entire Gotham Dental staff are always friendly, efficient and professional! Their beautiful office space is spotless and the dental equipment is state of the art. It is also convenient and comforting to know that if there are any extraordinary dental issues, It can be taken care of in their offices by the Specialists who are affiliated with this practice. I know my husband and I are in very good hands with Gotham Dental!!

Avo is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He and his team are attentive, gentle (especially important to those of us with less than enjoyable prior dental office experiences)and always treat me with respect. They’ve implemented a top shelf series of Covid protocols, and I’ve never felt anything less than completely safe when in their care. Great office aesthetics too!

Gotham Dental has been my dentist for the longest time, they are very professional and provide excellence when it comes to overall oral health care and customer service. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate any schedule needs, last time they did that, my daughter's first school event ever was in conflict with my appointment, they shuffled everything so I was able to both get the work done and see my little one smile on time.
